The 2009 Season consists of 17 rounds from March 27th to November 1st. It is the 60th FIA Formula One World Championship. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will make it’s debut this season, whilst the French and Canadian races are absent for the first year in a long time. The season sees a whole host of rule changes including the return to slick tyres, the introduction of KERS and numerous aerodynamic tweaks that alter the appearance of the F1 cars dramatically. 10 Teams and 20 Drivers were given permission to compete in 2009.
